Charalambpoulos Family - November 4 & 22, 2009

Today I finished the second of two shoots with the Charalambpoulos family. We did our first pictures a couple of weeks ago in Alexandria and finished today in my backyard and my studio. Such a beautiful family and so much fun to work with. We had to end our first sitting when their two year old fell asleep before we could take all the images we wanted. Today we ended the shoot with their four month old baby asleep on the backdrop.

Many thanks also to the grandmother of these lovely girls who was such a huge help both times, and even managed to sneak in a few photos with her family.

Greenan Family - November 16, 2009

Earlier this week I had the pleasure of taking some portraits of the Greenan family. What a beautiful family they are with two adorable boys who have the most exquisite blue eyes! The boys were such good sports about posing for me. Their mother is quite an accomplished photographer herself, and I think they are used to being in front of a camera.

When you take photographs of kids I like to move fast, and we got all of these done in my studio in about 25 minutes!

Cindy and David-November 15, 2009

Yesterday afternoon I photographed an engagement session for Cindy and David. Cindy was one of my son's forth grade teachers last year.

We were driving from my house down to the Potomac for some pictures when we drove by Glen Echo Park, which is at the end of my street. I have driven by this site hundreds of times, but had not been in the park since it was a working amusement park and I went with my family. I guess that really dates me.

I cannot believe what I have been missing! So many places to get interesting and creative shots. Great thinking Cindy - I now have a new site for portraits.

Best of luck to Cindy and David. They are having an out of state beach wedding this summer so I will not be taking the wedding photos. I am so glad I got the opportunity to work with them yesterday.
