Jessica and Bret - August 7, 2011

Jessica and Bret got married this past Sunday at the Music Center at Strathmore. Such a lovely and very happy couple. Nothing could stop their fun, not even a downpour during their outdoor ceremony. Their minister was great. He condensed the ceremony to basically a ring exchange and a kiss and then ushered everyone inside when the clouds opened and the thunder and lightening surrounded us. Fortunately the sun came out later in the day and we were able to get some outdoor portraits at sunset.

Regardless of the weather, Strathmore is a great place to shoot. It is a beautiful building and there are plenty of places for indoor pictures even when the weather does not cooperate. Augie Bove and his staff did their usual stellar job of running the show and the catering.

Jessica had a smile that did not quit for the whole event. Always fun to shoot so happy a bride. Many thanks to Matt Splain for second shooting with me. I also wanted to give a shout out to the band, One Night Stand, who really made the party.
