Kristin and Alex - DAR Wedding on June 21, 2014

I photographed Kristin's older sister's wedding ten years ago and loved that job.  Thus, I was thrilled to get a call from Rogean, their mom, letting me know that Kristin was engaged.  The wedding of Kristin and Alex was as much fun as her sister, Kerri's, was.

We started the day at the Willard Hotel where everyone was getting ready.  We did the first look for the couple by the fountain outside the Willard.  The weather which had looked iffy at times, turned out to be perfect.

From the Willard we went to Holy Rosary Church for the ceremony and then to DAR for the reception.   And what a reception it was.  Non stop dancing aside for the meal and some very touching toasts.  The band Black Tie was fabulous.  They also graciously shared their instruments with the groom and his band who played a number.  They were great too!
