I flew to Chicago this past Sunday morning for the birthday celebration of my very dear Aunt Caryl. The day started out with a concert by a trio comprised in part by their son, Peter on cello and his wife, April, on violin. After the recital they surprised Caryl with a rendition of Happy Birthday with Beatrice, Caryl's grand daughter playing violin.
Afterward, we went back to their home for some wining and dining and celebrating. So nice to see so many old friends and family, and so nice to meet so many new ones.
All my love to Henry and Caryl and I can't wait to come visit again soon.
