Howard and Charlie - May 9, 2014 at the Fairmont

Howard and Charlie came to me via Bob Mikolitch, catering director of the Fairmont in DC.  I love working with Bob as much as I love the Fairmont.

Howard and Charlie were actually already married so this event was just the party to celebrate the marriage.  And celebrate they did.  The Collonade Room was turned into a lounge with decor and flowers from Edge Flowers.  The band, Free Spirit (one of my favorites), kept everyone dancing the whole night.

Many thanks to Randy Wood for helping me out with the photos.   Big congrats to Howard and Charlie.  Great party, great family and friends.  Here's to many more years of happiness.

One of my favorite first dances ever!

Donna and Carol - May 10, 2014

I met Donna and Carol the evening before their wedding at the wedding of friends of theirs at the Fairmont Hotel.  They came up to me at the reception and told me that they had not hired a photographer for their small eight person wedding to be held in the courtyard the Fairmont the following morning.  They wanted to know if I might be available to shoot their ceremony.

While I was booked for the next evening I absolutely had time for their 10:00 am ceremony.  I was so glad I could help out and it was such a lovely wedding.  They have been together for fifteen years and decided to get married in the District as they were going to be in town from their home state of Indiana for the wedding on Friday.

All my love and best wishes to Donna and Carol.

Michel Family - May 4, 2016

Marissa and Craig came to me through Suzi Molak, my good friend from Longview Gallery.  I was photographing Suzi's baby's first birthday party a couple of weeks ago and they were guests.  They have a new baby, Dash, and wanted some photos of of their newly expanded family.  I drove out to their gorgeous home with lots of land in Haymarket on Sunday.  Dash was a trooper and let us do lots of photos in a few locations.   Great folks - I hope to see everyone again soon.
